It consisted of window sills, brickwork and vertical columns that needed repair from water damages caused by a leaking window system. The window system was going to be replaced by another vendor, but I still needed the repairs done. JLS did a great job on the repairs to the sills, resealed the brickwork under the window sills and also sealed the vertical column as well. They also painted all the repair areas, now everything looks like new. Since JLS deals with emergency situations and repairs they seem like they had a handle on the situation. The part I liked the most was the first thing they did was to create a containment area so it would be the least intrusive on the individual currently living there. The job was done in a timely manner and the people doing the work were proficient at whatever job they were doing. It was an easy choice to pick JLS since all the repairs could be done by them. I started with JLS at my first house that had mold in 2000, and met the owners who I have remained friends with now for 26 years. I tell them all the time that if I had employees like they do, I wouldn't have retired. This time I had a flood in my mountain home and the owner had a crew from 1-1/2 hours away on their way in minutes and they stayed into the night starting clean-up and tear out. Robert , Efrain, and Edgar started off and kept me informed and explained everything as they collected the data and samples need for insurance carriers and their labs....super professional. Gus and Robert as my project managers immediately engaged with me and our insurance carrier in a way that blew the insurance carrier away as they hadn't dealt with this level on professionalism and preparation before. Tear-out took about a week and at the end of every day you could eat off my floors, most of which they protected 100%. The crews with Phil, Christian, Edgar, Efrain and the managers were well mannered and very respective to me and my family...some of these guys I have known dating back to 2000....pretty awesome to keep great employees in this day-and-age. That says volumes about a Company and its owners. That respect for workers becomes the culture for how the workers treat customers that are already having a bad day when they call. Oh...I almost forgot Joy who called me periodically on crew arrival and developing issues....she's a rock star for sure!! The water mitigation crew from JLS which lead by Robert is a high experience team that provides excellent solution. The team is extremely helpful, proactive and responsive. In our particular case, Robert is keeping us up to date with the repair progress. He worked out his best to have both water heaters replaced as quick as he could. JLS Environmental Services was assigned by my insurance company to "save the day" after an upstairs bathroom leak resulted in floor damage upstairs and ceiling damage below. JLS was SUPER efficient during the initial demo, clean-up, mold testing, etc. Very professional staff, very quick work. They were equally responsive when it came time to "rebuild" the downstairs ceiling. They paint matched, texture matched and moved/protected all furnishings. The workers were very knowledgeable and personable. Overall, working with them was a great experience.
Our house suffered fire damage and JLS did all the interior and exterior renovations. JLS was amazing to work with and did an excellent job restoring our home. Would highly recommend JLS!
